Diva Tournament Registration Now Open

The Diva Tournament is next on our social calendar - coming up on October 15 & 16 at the Spa.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the women to enjoy an event together. We especially would like to welcome newbie players and first time tournament participants. Trust me it is not about winning , but about having fun and trying something new.

WARNING: This game is highly addictive, fun  and extremely good for you!

Online registration closes on Tuesday, October 12th and is available here:

Fall Fiesta - Day 2 - Awesome !

Wow - what a night of squash!  Everyone played so hard, we kept the Spa open extra hours !

Friday's highlights include:

  1. The inaugural match of Mr. Liam Jinks - Men's A Champion in the making!  Great job Liam - welcome to Squash PEI!
  2. Four matches that went the distance - kept us all up late!  Great matches from Mike Gallant & Dan Lazaratos, Jane (Roundabout) Hicks & Aaron Coffin, A Division Newbie (and co-drawmaster) Steve Bruce & Masters Division wanna-be - BJ MacLean, and the two "Energizer Bunnies" - Darren Chaisson & Anthony Scott.  Not to be out-done, after going down in 5, Anthony is pulling out all the stops and "subbing in" Stan Chaisson to finish the tourney on his behalf - wait a minute .... is "subbing" allowed in Squash?????
  3. Speaking of Masters Division wanna-be's - Bruce Johnston pulls out a great victory over the younger- legged and spirited Jonathan O'Keefe.
  4. A couple of upsets to mention - Ryan "Harrow" Knockwood takes Danny Peacock down in 3 straight, and Quincy Beck does the same to # 2 seed Nicole Blanchard.
  5. NS Canada Games player Emily Terry came to play - defeating PEI's Whitney MacDonald, and Sam Lawther defeated Canada Games teammate Eli McKenna in a well-played match to finish the night!

All players are reminded that the courts will be busy tomorrow - please arrive 20-25 minutes prior to your scheduled match time, so we can get to the FIESTA at Pat & Willy's on time.

BONUS NACHOS !  (that's Spanish for "see you in the morning for pancakes!")
